 Since 1953 to 1957 Ugo Sissa is in Baghdad. He get in contact with the Middle East’ civilization and this intrigues him with an extraordinary passion for archaeology. He assisted to the discoveries between Tigris and Euphrates. In Palazzo Te you can find both the Mesopotamian and the Egyptian collections.
