FROM THE LAND OF VIRGIL TO VENICE

Mantua - Venice (with De Lux ship motonave Andes 2000)
1 day long

8.00am - Meeting point in Mantua at the Mantua-Navi Andes' dock on the Lago di Mezzo.
Embarkation on ANDES 2000 and navigation of the lakes and of the river Mincio and, thanks to the Governolo Pound Lock of the Po river. The Big River will affect you emotionally.
You can spy some bell-towers. The very prove that Men is near the river.

1.00pm - Dining on the Bacchelli's river.
Seafood or Typical Mantuan menu.
During the afternoon you can visit the characteristic and picturesque small villages, some of them are also uninhabited and deserted and lost in the lagoon.
The lagoon is separated from the sea by some sandy lidos like the Pellestrina and San Pietro in Volta ones. They are a particular habitat for different kinds of waterfowl and of different natural species.

5.00pm - Tea time. Tea with typical Venezia's biscuit will be served.

6.30pm - Arrival in Venice, Riva Sette Martiri, disembarking of passengers and end of the service.
We suggest the visist of the world-famous Venezia. There is no limit for water, sky history and art in Venice.

1st DAY

12.30pm - Lunch on board - Typical Mantuan menu.

3.30pm - Arrival in Pontelagoscuro (FE).
Transfer by pullmann in Sotttomarina di Chioggia, dinner, bed and breakfast.

2nd DAY

8.30am - From Fusina to the Lagoon by boat: embarkation of passengers in Fusina's dock. Navigation of Vittorio Emanuele III Canal to Giudecca's Canal to visit the glorious churches of Venice the Redentore (Redeemer) Church, the Zitelle's Church (the spinster's Church) and the majestic Santa Maria of Salvation. As if by magic St Mark's Square.
With the famous Basilica's campanile, which stands apart from it. The buildings around the Piazza are, anti-clockwise from the Grand Canal, the Doge's Palace, St Mark's Basilica, St Mark's Clocktower, the Procuratie Vecchie, the Napoleonic Wing of the Procuraties, the Procuratie Nuove, St Mark's Campanile and Logetta and the Biblioteca Marciana.
We will be coasting the the Venetian Arsenal is a shipyard and naval depot that played a leading role in Venetian empire-building.
Arrival in Torcello: the quiet island at the northern end of the Venetian Lagoon.
Departure for Burano is also known for its small, brightly-painted houses, popular with artists.

3.00pm - Landing in St Mark and free visit in doges.

5.00pm - Transfer to Fusina and end of all services.
