Water, land, history, art, legends: this is Mantova unveiled while sailing the lakes encompassing the town.
Like Venice, Mantua seems to be emerging from water, primary defence along the centuries.



Mincio river,surrounds it and tells us about past legends and tales.
Today the nature triumphs: wide, floating spreads of Nelumbium, the lotus flowers and of Trapa Natans, the water chestnut which is boiled and eaten in Autumn. Herons fly high up into the sky with night-herons, kingfishers and stilt-birds.
